Job summary

Igloo Ltd in Rochester, Kent is recruiting a Parts Advisor to join a leading vehicle logistics company. You will handle parts deliveries, stock control, supplier pricing, and customer enquiries, with full training provided for trainees.

The role suits someone with interest in car parts and strong organisation and computer skills; a valid UK driving licence (6 points max) and the ability to work independently or in a team are required. Onsite parking is available.

Qualifications

We are recruiting a Parts Advisor to join our team in Rochester, Kent. Our client is a leading finished vehicle logistics company, specialising in vehicle preparation, logistics, and secure storage for the automotive industry.

This opportunity would suit either an experienced Parts Advisor or someone looking to develop a career within automotive parts, as trainee applicants are also welcome.

The Role:

• Receiving deliveries and dispatching vehicle parts
• Managing and updating stock control systems
• Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing and availability
• Providing quotes and supporting parts enquiries
• Carrying out general parts administration duties
• Supporting workshop and operational teams with parts requests
• Completing ad-hoc duties as required by management
• Handling some heavy lifting where required

Full training will be provided for trainee candidates.

The Person:

• Previous experience within a parts, stores, or automotive role is beneficial
• Knowledge of cars and vehicle parts is advantageous
• Strong organisational and computer skills
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• Reliable and willing to learnAble to work independently and as part of a team
