Job summary

Sinclair Group in Swansea is seeking a Parts Advisor to join the Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea. You will assist customers with parts and accessories, source and supply parts, and support workshop technicians to ensure parts are available when needed.

The role is full-time and permanent, working 40 hours a week with some Saturday overtime. A rewarding role within our Aftersales team offering a competitive salary and extensive staff benefits including a pension, discounts, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, team-focused approach.
• Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Previous automotive or parts experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicles would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with parts and accessory enquiries.
• Identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts accurately and efficiently.
• Supporting workshop technicians with parts requirements.
• Matching customer orders to stock and offering competitive pricing.
• Handling telephone, face-to-face, and online enquiries.
• Promoting parts and accessories to maximise sales opportunities.
• Managing stock levels.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, returns, and warranty items.
• Processing payments and completing paperwork accurately.
• Working towards departmental targets and KPIs.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey.

Parts Advisor - Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea

Full Time | Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings on a rota (paid as overtime)

Salary: £26,624 basic salary with an OTE of £30,224 plus overtime paid at time and a half.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Parts Advisor to join the team at Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea. This is a busy and rewarding role where you'll be at the heart of our Aftersales operation, supporting customers, technicians and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available at the right time.

Whether you already have parts experience or come from a strong customer service background with an interest in the motor trade, we'd love to hear from you.
