Job description

Porsche Retail Group (PRG) have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Advisor to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join Porsche Centre Hatfield.

To apply for this role of Parts Advisor, you must have:

• Car Parts Knowledge / Vehicle Parts experience
• Full Drivers Licence
• Excellent Customer Service
• Background in the automotive industry

Role:
Reporting to the Parts Manager, as a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Vehicle Technicians, by accurately identifying, ordering and supplying Porsche parts and accessories to our workshop. You will also ensure our retail customers, receive expert advice on which parts are needed for their Porsche, explaining their functions, and taking orders in person, over the phone, or via email.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and sourcing parts accurately, determining the correct parts needed based on vehicle information and customers’ needs
• Improving workshop efficiency by checking parts availability and pre-picking items in advance of the service booking
• Supporting the management of the parts inventory, including receiving deliveries restocking and conducting stock counts
• Processing parts orders, creating invoices and handling retail customer transactions
• Assisting the Service Advisors and Vehicle Technicians by providing product information, availability and pricing
• Supporting warranty claims processing relating to parts and completing all relevant administration

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an automotive parts or service department
• Familiarity with parts databases and inventory management systems
• Sound understanding of vehicle components and systems
• Good IT skills including MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a franchised automotive dealership
• Full Driving Licence
• Experience in a customer facing environment
