Auto Skills UK in Exeter is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join our busy fleet operation. You will ensure workshop and customer requests are met with the right parts quickly, maintaining stock control and accurate administration.

You should have previous Parts Advisor experience in the commercial vehicle or automotive sector, good knowledge of vehicle parts, and excellent organisational skills.

Formación

• Previous Parts Advisor experience - essential.
• Experience within the commercial vehicle, HGV or automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Source and supply parts for commercial vehicles.
• Identify correct parts using electronic catalogs and systems.
• Order parts from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Serve workshop technicians and retail customers.
• Check availability, pricing and delivery times.
• Receive and book parts into stock.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Process parts orders, invoices and related administration.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and order additional parts as required.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Keep up to date with commercial vehicle parts and product knowledge.

Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor / Parts Advisor

Location: Exeter

Salary: £32,598 rising to £33,575 after successful probation

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7:00am-6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am-1:00pm

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

As a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the workshop and customers receive the correct parts efficiently and accurately, while maintaining excellent stock control and administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing and supplying parts for commercial vehicles
• Identifying the correct parts using electronic parts catalogues and systems
• Ordering parts from manufacturers and suppliers
• Serving workshop Technicians and retail customers
• Checking availability, pricing and delivery times
