Job summary

A reputable car dealership is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team. You will work in a small, focused group, delivering a modern parts service to the Workshop and customers while maintaining stock and handling returns.

A strong all-rounder with knowledge of parts identification, goods-in, ordering, and stock control is essential. You should have main dealer experience, be proficient with Autoline or Kerridge, maintain a positive customer-focused attitude, and hold a valid

Qualifications

• Main dealer Parts Advisor experience
• Autoline or Kerridge experience preferred
• Positive, customer-focused attitude
• Valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of service to the Workshop to keep technicians productive and support parts-related needs
• Handle goods-in processes, parts identification, order processing and perpetual stock checking
• Liaise with Service on parts requirements and back-office administration
• Upsell and advise on VHCs to improve workshop efficiency and margins

Our client is a car dealership who is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.

Parts Advisor Role

Working within a small team, you will be focused on delivering a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority will be to maintain a high level of service to the Workshop to ensure technicians remain productive, ensure electronic up-sell VHCs are completed promptly:You will need to be a strong all-rounder and understand all aspects of a parts department. From goods-in processes, parts identification, order processes, perpetual stock checking, stock rotation, parts returns and liaising with Service over parts related mattersYou will be customer focused, and able to prioritise your workload to ensure your meet customer's expectationsYou have a good technical / mechanical understanding to aide your parts identification / up-sell technique

About You

To have main dealer experience as a Parts AdvisorPreferably to have Autoline / Kerridge experienceTo have a positive, customer focused attitude and approach to your workTo have a valid driving licence

Package

Basic up to £27,000 depending on experience - OTE £30,000
Monday to Friday - 45 Hours, Overtime is available
