Job summary

Jago Consultants' client, a prestige main dealership, seeks an experienced Parts Advisor to join a focused, busy department. You will manage goods-in, parts identification and stock controls, while delivering high levels of customer service to back-counter and workshop teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a Parts Advisor role within a main dealership and familiarity with Kerridge or ADP systems, be a strong team player, and possess excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Parts Advisor experience
• Must have worked within a main dealership environment
• Excellent customer handling skills are essential
• Experience with Kerridge/ADP is preferable
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Handle goods-in, parts identification, order processing and perpetual stock checks
• Liaise with Service on parts-related matters and verify parts
• Deliver professional customer service to in-store and counter customers
• Complete E-VHC parts requests

Job description

Our client is a prestige main dealership who are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor for their dealership.

Working within a small but busy department, you will be focused on delivering unrivalled levels of customer service, and a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority will be to maintain a high level of service to the back-counter, but you will be involved in all areas of the Parts Dept.

Parts Advisor Role:

• You will be working within a passionate and committed Parts Department who focus on delivering an excellent Parts service.
• You will need to be a strong all-rounder and understand all aspects of a parts dept. From goods-in processes, parts identification, order processes, perpetual stock checking, stock rotation, parts returns and liaising with Service over parts related matters, parts verification experience would be beneficial
• You will be expected to deal with customers in a professional and personal focus, as expected by the brand
• You have a good technical / mechanical understanding to aide your parts identification / up-sell technique
• Completing E-VHC parts requests

As a Parts Advisor:

• You will ideally have a minimum of 3-years Parts Advisor experience, and MUST either currently, or have previously worked within a Main dealership environment
• Excellent customer handling skills are essential to this position
• Preferably, but not essential, you will have experience with Kerridge / ADP
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and working as part of a team

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm
Saturday 9am – 1pm (one a 1-in-3 rota)
