Executive Network Group in Wiltshire is seeking a Parts Advisor to manage day-to-day parts operations, stock control, purchasing, and customer service for a service and repair company.

You will identify and source parts, arrange deliveries, prepare quotations, and support engineers and customers, with a focus on accuracy and timely service. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Parts Advisor/Controller/Coordinator or Parts Sales roles.
• Experience in construction equipment or related engineering environment.
• Confident with IT systems and able to deal with customers, suppliers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day parts operation and respond to parts enquiries.
• Order parts and monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
• Provide parts support to engineers, workshop, customers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate stock records and stock levels.

• Handle customer and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
• Maintain records of parts, orders, costs and supplier information.
• Support regular stock checks and stocktaking activities.
• Ensure all parts-related administration is completed accurately.

Job Title: Parts Advisor

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor / Parts Controller to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day parts operation, ensuring engineers and customers receive the correct parts efficiently and within agreed timescales. This is a varied role, combining parts sales, stock control, purchasing, administration and customer service.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Identifying and sourcing parts for all related machinery.
• Managing the day-to-day parts operation and responding to parts enquiries.
• Ordering parts and monitoring deliveries to ensure they arrive within required timescales.
• Providing parts support to engineers, the workshop, customers and internal departments.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock levels are appropriately managed.
• Preparing quotations and processing parts sales orders.
• Dealing with customer and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
• Maintaining accurate records of parts, orders, costs and supplier information.

Requirements of Role:

• Have previous experience within a Parts Advisor, Parts Controller, Parts Coordinator or Parts Sales position.
• Have experience working within the construction equipment, plant hire, agricultural, automotive, HGV / commercial vehicle, material handling, or a similar engineering environment.
• Comfortable dealing with customers, suppliers and engineers.
