Arnold Clark is seeking a Parts Advisor for our Fiat branch in Dunfermline. You don’t need prior parts experience; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

The role involves keeping workshops stocked with the right parts, updating customers on their vehicle journey, and coordinating with the workshop to ensure timely parts delivery. You’ll learn our systems and contribute to a friendly, customer-focused service culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is desirable.
• Experience with stock or retail inventory is a plus.
• Comfort using computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.

Responsabilités

• Identify parts required for vehicles and assist customers.
• Order parts from internal and external sources.
• Pick and pack parts for workshop use.
• Communicate with the workshop and customers throughout the process.
• Provide quick, accurate service and advise on parts availability.
• Process invoicing and update stock records.
• Monitor and manage stock levels.

Hours

Full time: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pm

About The Role

Do you have customer service skills and experience working with stock?

Our Parts Advisors are responsible for keeping our workshops well-stocked with the right parts to maintain our vehicles whilst also updating customers in relation to their vehicle journey through every stage of the process.

If you’ve worked in a retail environment before and have experience managing stock, you’ll already have some of the traits of a successful Parts Advisor. You’ll need to be comfortable using computers, but don’t worry – we’ll provide all the training you’ll need to use our systems.

Day-to-day duties

• Identifying parts required for a vehicle
• Ordering parts from internal and external sources
• Picking and packing parts
• Communicating with the workshop
• Providing a quick and accurate service to our customers
• Invoicing
• Reviewing digital communications for customers
• Stock management

Essential Skills

• Keen to learn, with a can-do attitude
• The ability to work independently, but also as part of a team working towards the same goals
• A great communicator – friendly, clear and concise
• Enjoy working with your customers
• Happy using computers, although we’ll provide training on all the systems you’ll need
