Job Opportunity: Parts Advisor at Gregory Distribution

We have a vacancy for a Parts Advisor based at our Cullompton Depot. This role involves working with 5 Gregory workshops across England and Wales.

Responsibilities of the Parts Advisor include:

1. Liaising with the Workshop team for ordering parts and checking orders from night shift technicians.
2. Managing the delivery of parts and notifying the workshop team upon arrival.
3. Receiving stock on Freeway system.
4. Maintaining stock levels and conducting weekly stocktakes.
5. Ensuring timely part arrivals and liaising with suppliers for delays.
6. Analyzing stock movement and discussing with Head of Fleet Maintenance.
7. Occasionally collecting emergency parts using the workshop van.
8. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the parts department.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience dealing with suppliers and customers.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components (car or HGV).
• Knowledge of Freeway system is desirable.
• Experience with database management.
• Excellent organizational and workload prioritization skills.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
