Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking a proactive candidate for a permanent, full-time position in parts, stores or stock management. The role covers 39 hours per week, Monday–Friday with Saturdays on a rota, and a salary dependent on experience.

The package includes 32 days' annual leave including bank holidays, company sick pay, a workplace pension, staff discounts and additional benefits, plus overtime available at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, stores, stock control or retail.
• Direct work with customers is preferred.
• Organising and managing stock in a busy environment.
• Experience using computer systems and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers and technicians at the front counter, by phone and email.
• Identifying and supplying the correct parts.
• Processing orders and arranging dispatch.
• Managing and organising stock.
• Supporting general stores duties, including stock control.
• Handling payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing excellent customer service and supporting sales targets.

Job description

Are you experienced in parts, stores or stock management and enjoy dealing with customers? We’re looking for someone who is organised, practical and customer-focused, with experience working in a parts, stores, warehouse, retail or stock environment. You don’t necessarily need agricultural experience- motor trade, automotive, engineering or other relevant backgrounds will also be considered. What’s important is that you’re confident managing stock, dealing with customers and keeping things organised in a busy environment.

• Supporting general stores duties, including stock control

• A busy, fast-paced environment
• Using computer systems, email and basic office software
