The Role
With the support of our Head of Marketing, you will drive consumer revenue through acquisition, retention and engagement marketing campaigns that align to our strategy. You will plan, create and deliver these campaigns across multiple channels including emails, print, paid media, events & OOH advertising.
The Partnerships Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing campaigns and initiatives across magazine subscriptions, ecommerce products, events and commerce content across all of our brands, with a focus on devising and executing our partnerships strategy, to grow strategic partnerships across all areas of our consumer business. The Partnerships Marketing Manager will foster relationships to build creative partnership strategies that drive both acquisition and retention KPIs, working closely with our commercial, legal and brand teams to collaborate on campaigns and maximise opportunities across teams.
Furthermore, in this role you will lead the marketing for all offline channels including events, print media & OOH. You will lead the marketing planning and execution for all consumer events, driving the ticketing and promotional strategies and working closely with the PR, events and editorial teams.
What will you be doing?
You will devise our partnerships strategy, to drive growth across all consumer business areas, strategically researching and planning partnership opportunities that align with our brand values and meet business objectives. You will think creatively and commercially to regularly identify new opportunities that mutually benefit both parties, and present the collaboration opportunities to potential partners with conviction, to secure interest.
You will lead the marketing strategy and execution for all offline channels, including but not limited to inserts, DMs, OOH and events, planning campaigns & always on activity within set budgets to meet KPI and revenue targets. You will project manage all proofing, approvals and production processes, working to strict deadlines.
You will work with our European Consumer Revenue analysts to consistently monitor & optimise your KPIs and the levers that impact them, using the data / analytics to critique our current strategy and create test & learn plans that will inform the future strategic direction of your campaigns, balancing innovation against current performance. You will regularly present your learnings and future plans back to the key stakeholders, including the Head of Marketing and UK Consumer Revenue Lead.
You will also work with the data intelligence team to ensure the right customer segmentation and set up for certain campaigns, utilising our customer data platform.
You will support with forecasting our future performance, as well as ensuring we operate within budget, make informed recommendations on how to develop our plans,, based on performance, market trends and new opportunities.
You will work with Consumer Revenue’s designer and the brand designers to develop the marketing creative strategy to ensure our advertising compliments the brands.
About you:
A driven and enthusiastic marketing professional with good experience of running and optimising campaigns across a variety of channels, including running marketing partnerships
Proven track record of planning and executing fully integrated marketing campaigns
Understanding of customer loyalty and retention strategies
Knowledge and understanding of key marketing channels including email, print media & digital
Excellent organisational skills and ability to deal with a broad variety of tasks & prioritise workload effectively, including project management and events experience
Strong communication skills and proven ability to present and negotiate with external stakeholders
Ability to work well under pressure, to prioritise workload, and to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail & focus on accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively with excellent people skills; you will need to be confident liaising with colleagues at various levels throughout the organisation
Be comfortable with Google Sheets and Slides to build and manage reports and presentations
