Job summary

The Yard is looking for a Partnerships Development Manager to drive corporate fundraising across Scotland, in a hybrid role covering Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. You will turn ideas and connections into meaningful opportunities and lead the income generation for the charity.

You will engage supporters, develop an annual fundraising plan, and build long-term relationships with companies to grow regular giving, mid-value gifts and legacy support across all sites.

• Job title: Partnerships Development Manager
• Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week)
• Location: Hybrid (Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow)
• Salary: In the region of £40,000

As Partnerships Development Manager, you will help generate the income required to sustain The Yard’s services by engaging existing supporters and attracting new ones. You will lead corporate fundraising across all our sites.

Your key responsibilities will include delivering a corporate fundraising strategy and annual plan, raising The Yard’s profile among companies across Scotland, and building long-term relationships that grow regular giving, mid-value donations and legacy support.

This job is for you if you have:

• A breadth of experience in meeting or exceeding funding targets.
• The ability to think both strategically and creatively to build sustainable and innovative relationships.
• Experience of excelling in planning and management of multiple priorities.
• A good understanding of the needs of businesses and the contribution charity partnerships can make to their success.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a friendly, approachable manner.
