Job summary

The Yard is seeking a Partnerships Development Manager to drive corporate fundraising and partnerships across Scotland. You will deliver strategic plans, engage existing supporters, and attract new donors while building sustainable, long-term corporate relationships.

Hybrid working across Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow is available. The role demands meeting funding targets, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder engagement to grow regular giving and legacy support.

Qualifications

• Breadth of experience in meeting or exceeding funding targets.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to build sustainable relationships.
• Experience planning and managing multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of how charity partnerships benefit businesses.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner.

Are you a creative thinker who thrives on developing relationships and building new partnerships? Join us as our new Partnerships Development Manager and turn your ideas and connections into meaningful opportunities.

As Partnerships Development Manager, you will help generate the income required to sustain our services by engaging existing supporters and attracting new ones. You will lead corporate fundraising across all our sites.

Your key responsibilities will include delivering a corporate fundraising strategy and annual plan, raising The Yard’s profile among companies across Scotland, and building long-term relationships that grow regular giving, mid-value donations and legacy support.

This job is for you if you have:

• A breadth of experience in meeting or exceeding funding targets
• The ability to think both strategically and creatively to build sustainable and innovative relationships
• Experience of excelling in planning and management of multiple priorities
• A good understanding of the needs of businesses and the contribution charity partnerships can make to their success
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a friendly, approachable manner
