About Future Sports Marketing

Future Sports Marketing is a specialist sports marketing agency focused on brokering sponsorship deals between ambitious brands and leading sports rights holders. We operate at the intersection of sport and business—delivering commercial partnerships that drive measurable results for all parties.

Our business is built on relationships, insight, and results. We work across sports and territories, from football and F1 to tennis and esports, with a core aim: to connect brands with audiences they care about through the power of sport.

Our management team holds significant experience at a c-suite level in industry meaning we’ve been able to leverage our deep relationships with decision makers at rightsholders across the globe and deliver spectacular partnerships for our partners.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an exceptional commercial operator to join our team and help unlock new opportunities as we enter the next stage of our journey.

Partnership Director

This is a hands-on, commercially focused sales role designed for someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships, and closing deals.

You will be the driving force behind generating new sponsorship conversations with brands, supported by the two co-founders and our insight and creative resources.

You will identify, approach, and engage brand-side decision-makers, help shape compelling partnership proposals, and play a key role in converting opportunities into deals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

·Proactively identify and approach potential brand partners across multiple categories

·Develop tailored outreach strategies and initiate first conversations

·Understand brand objectives and align them with suitable sports partnership opportunities

·Lead and manage the sales funnel from prospecting through to contract negotiations

·Collaborate with co-founders to tailor proposals and close deals

Partnership Strategy & Delivery

·Work closely with rights holders and internal teams to understand partnership inventory

·Shape strategic positioning of properties for brand pitches

·Help produce presentation and sales collateral as required

Relationship Management

·Build a strong network of marketing and sponsorship decision-makers across sectors

·Act as a credible and strategic voice in brand-facing conversations

·Represent Future Sports Marketing in meetings, presentations, and industry events

Market Insight & Intelligence

·Stay up to date on sponsorship trends, competitor activity, and industry innovation

·Input into overall company strategy and help shape our commercial proposition

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

·3-4+ years in sponsorship sales or partnership development (agency or rights holder)

·Proven track record in developing and closing commercial partnerships

·Existing network of brand contacts at manager, director, or C-suite level

·Experience building tailored presentations and pitching complex ideas

·Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills
