Job summary

Our Sevenoaks client is seeking a Partner Designate to lead a mixed client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will oversee accounts, tax work and financial statements while building trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

The role offers a clear progression path to Partner, with hybrid working and a competitive salary. You will influence service delivery and contribute to business development within the practice.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification.
• CTA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Oversee and review accounts, financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax returns.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of client work and deadlines.
• Work closely with Partners to support the smooth running and growth of the practice.
• Contribute to business development, marketing initiatives, and audit assignments where desired.

Our client is a leading independent accountancy firm in Sevenoaks. They have a rich history and they are planning for a prosperous future with the addition of a Partner Designate. This will be a key role for the firm and long term offer a route to become the 3rd Partner of the firm.

Description

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Profile

A Successful Partner Designate Should Have

• ACCA/ACA qualified. Dual qualification of CTA preferred.
• Proven experience leading a team, winning new business, managing a portfolio over multiple years.
• Experience of accounting and tax work.
• Desire to build career to Partner level
• A strategic mindset with attention to detail in operational delivery
