Michael Page in Sevenoaks is assisting a leading independent accountancy firm to appoint a Partner Designate as part of long-term succession planning. The role offers a clear path to become the 3rd Partner, with responsibility for client portfolios, staff leadership, and strategic growth.

The position is permanent, hybrid, with a competitive salary (£70,000–£85,000) and 25 days of annual leave. Agile working and a strong route to partnership are featured benefits.

Client Details

Our client is a leading independent accountancy firm in Sevenoaks. They have a rich history and they are planning for a prosperous future with the addition of a Partner Designate. This will be a key role for the firm and long term offer a route to become the 3rd Partner of the firm.

Description

• Manage a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Oversee and review accounts, financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax returns.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of client work and deadlines.
• Work closely with Partners to support the smooth running and growth of the practice.
• Contribute to business development, marketing initiatives, and audit assignments where desired.

Profile

A successful Partner Designate should have:

• ACCA/ACA qualified. Dual qualification of CTA preferred.
• Proven experience leading a team, winning new business, managing a portfolio over multiple years.
• Experience of accounting and tax work.
• Desire to build career to Partner level
• A strategic mindset with attention to detail in operational delivery
