Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking an Employability Co-ordinator to promote and deliver work experience and volunteering opportunities across the council and partners. The role focuses on coordination with schools, colleges and external stakeholders to provide a consistent approach.

Qualifications

• Plan, coordinate and manage work experience and volunteering across Hull City Council and partners.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare of participants on programmes.
• Ensure statutory provision of work experience for eligible young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all work experience and volunteering across Hull City Council with schools and colleges.
• Maintain systems to manage placements, trends and participant satisfaction.
• Foster productive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
• Coordinate placements with chosen health and safety provider and assess risks.
• Ensure documentation is completed for managers, teachers, volunteers and students.
