Hull City Council is seeking three Full-time SEND Participation Advisers to support SEND young people aged 14–25 in education, training and employment transitions. You will manage a caseload across schools, special schools and post-16 settings, coordinating with partners to improve outcomes and prepare for adulthood.

Role involves data reporting to DfE and local stakeholders, with DBS disclosure requirements. Informal discussions available with the Hiring Manager.

• Reduce NEETs and support transition for SEND learners.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to DfE and KHCC.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and safeguard welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults.
• Ensure statutory obligations support and contribute to the Preparation for Adulthood agenda.
• Maintain and manage caseloads to track EHCPs and NEETs.
• Assess readiness to progress and refer to appropriate agencies.
• Build relationships with young people on caseload and support engagement.
• Have specialist knowledge of local labour market and SEND opportunities.
• Attend meetings to discuss future options and provide specialist advice.
• Advocate for SEND learners and support transition into adulthood.
• Collaborate with SEND team, adult social care and health partners.
• Follow Hull City Council health and safety policies and safeguarding duties.
