Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in Chelmsford is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant on a 14-hour-per-week contract. You will deliver market-leading customer service, handle store operations, and support wine knowledge growth with funded training.

You'll be a brand ambassador, meet KPIs, and enjoy benefits including staff discount, uniform, and access to WSET qualifications. Driving Licence is required for local deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months, with up to 6 penalty points.
• WSET Level 2 qualification essential or in progress.
• Strong customer service experience with ability to build loyalty.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and personalised recommendations.
• Drive sales by meeting and exceeding store targets and KPIs.
• Open, run, and close the store as a keyholder when required.
• Support daily operations including stock delivery and local deliveries in the company van.
• Continue to build product knowledge and share it with customers.
