Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Production Operative for a leading frozen foods manufacturer based in Ledbury. The role involves working in a chilled environment and supporting production on weekly rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

Temporary ongoing, full-time hours with weekly pay. £13.00 per hour. Shifts run 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:30, offering a busy, team-focused environment and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Willing to rotate weekly shifts.

Production Operative required in Ledbury, paying £13.00 per hour, Temporary Ongoing, Weekly Rotating morning and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday)

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a well established and manufacturer of frozen products based in Ledbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team on a temporary ongoing basis, with full time hours and weekly rotating shifts. Due to the nature of the products, you will be working in a chilled environment with temperatures typically between 0°C and 4°C.

The Role:

• As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
• Picking stock from designated locations and supplying production areas.
• Replenishing stock to ensure continuous production.
• Packing products efficiently and accurately on the production line.
• Checking product weights meet required specifications.
• Carrying out quality control checks to company standards.
• Labelling products with the correct batch codes and information.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following food safety, quality and health & safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous production, manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible to work the weekly rotating shift pattern.

Hours of Work

• Weekly Rotating Monday to Friday Shifts:
• Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 (37.5 hours)
• Week 2: 14:00 - 22:30 (40 hours)

Pay Rate:

£13.00 per hour
