Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at New Priory on a part-time basis in Brighton. This great seaside town location offers a vibrant community and easy access to London and Gatwick.

As the first point of contact for clients, you will manage appointments, handle enquiries, support client communications and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line contact for clients and their pets and via telephone.
• Triage emergencies and provide advice.
• Relay messages accurately and act promptly.
• Welcome and register clients on arrival and make appointments.
• Dispense medicines as directed by our Vet.
• Take payments and cash up.
• Social media content management.
• Complete referrals and other administration tasks.
