Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our Brighton practice on a 19-hour per week basis, covering Saturdays and Sundays. You will welcome clients, manage appointments and assist the team to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

Based at New Priory Vets in Brighton, you’ll work with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to deliver a professional, compassionate experience. Previous customer-facing experience and excellent communication are preferred for this busy role.

Qualifications

• Friendly, organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys teamwork.
• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line contact for clients and their pets, in person and by phone.
• Triage emergencies and provide appropriate advice.
• Relay messages accurately and respond in a timely manner.
• Welcome and register clients, make appointments.
• Dispense medicines as directed by the Vet.
• Take payments and balance cash.
• Manage social media content.
• Complete referrals and other admin tasks.
