Job summary

Zetland Vets, part of inspiring vet care, is hiring a Receptionist on a part-time permanent basis. You will be the welcoming face for clients and their pets, manage appointments, and support both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient journey.

You will work a 34.5-hour week across shifts including early mornings, with a 1:4 Saturday rota at our Redland hospital. A friendly, organised, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with focus on service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets in a professional, friendly manner.
• Manage front-of-house operations and bookings.
• Handle enquiries and support client communications.
• Assist vets and nurses as required.
• Process payments and daily banking.
• Maintain waiting areas, rooms and offices.
