WRASAC Dundee and Angus is recruiting a Sexual Violence Trauma Support Worker to provide holistic, trauma-informed support to survivors of rape, sexual abuse and exploitation. The role includes one-to-one support, advocacy, group work, and intake meetings, with duties across our helpline and other communications channels.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering trauma-informed support using counselling-type skills.
• Understanding impact of rape and sexual abuse on survivors.
• Commitment to feminist analysis of gender-based violence.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-to-one support and advocacy to survivors.
• Deliver group work and introductory meetings.
• Offer support through helpline and other channels.
