Job summary

Change Grow Live in Norfolk is seeking a part-time Team Leader (18.75 hours per week) to lead a team of Substance Misuse Recovery Coordinators across five localities. The role requires regular county travel, a full driving licence and a pro rata salary linked to a 37.5 hour standard, with good supervision, development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include operational line management and staff development, safeguarding collaboration, and recruitment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
• Significant experience of leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social care intervention.
• Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
• Able to lead, inspire and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Operational line management of a team of staff including supervision, appraisal, performance and sickness management, and adherence to policies.
• Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control and opportunities for service users.
• Collaborate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure risk identification and staff competency in interventions.
• Provide timely values-based feedback to improve service user outcomes.
• Lead on recruitment, selection and induction of staff.
