Job summary

Lady Seawards Primary Academy in Hampstead is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across the curriculum. You will deliver targeted interventions, promote inclusion and support SEND pupils 1:1 or in small groups, with some nursery involvement, under the direction of the class teacher.

The role requires safeguarding commitment, an enhanced DBS, and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade A-C/4-9) or equivalent desirable
• Experience of working in a school or educational setting essential
• Experience of working with children/young people essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions with pupils.
• Promote inclusion through development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
• Work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals.
• Show initiative and respond with integrity and compassion.
• Work with SEND pupils 1:1 or in small groups as required.
• Work as part of the nursery team for at least 1 afternoon per week.
