Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a kind, caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a KS1 child in Bacup. The role is part-time (1-2 hours per day) with hours to be determined, for a long-term position ASAP until the end of the academic year. Rate is £14.25 per hour, with statutory holiday pay included.

Ideal candidates will have EYFS/KS1 experience and SEN exposure, be patient and nurturing, and committed to a long-term role in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with EYFS and/or KS1 expected.
• Experience supporting children with SEN is a plus.
• Patient, nurturing, kind and caring.
• Reliable and committed to a long-term role.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for the child in a KS1 setting.
• Assist with learning activities and targetted guidance.
• Monitor progress and communicate with teachers as needed.

• Part-time, approximately 1-2 hours per day
• Working hours/times to be determined
• Long-term position, from ASAP until the end of the academic year
• £14.25 per hour

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience working with EYFS and/or KS1
• Ideally has experience supporting children with SEN
• Is patient, nurturing, kind and caring
• Can provide positive support, encouragement and guidance
• Is reliable and committed to a long-term role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
