Job summary

Delta Housing in Chelmsford is seeking a Support Assistant on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in daily living, tenancy sustainment and community engagement.

You will work across shifts, contribute to support plans, ensure safety and safeguarding, and coordinate with families and professionals. The role offers a salary of £21,265 per year, hybrid working, and benefits including learning, healthcare, and a pension.

Qualifications

• QCF level 3 (or working towards this qualification).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist with tenancy sustainment goal setting and meaningful activities.
• Contribute to development, implementation, monitoring and review of support plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding, health & safety, and legislation.
• Support safe operation of the service including medication administration and appointments.
