Job summary

River Island is seeking a Product Team Leader in Ipswich to lead and empower the store team, delivering an inspiring customer journey and a high‑performing environment. You will drive visual execution and exemplary customer service, while supporting the Product and Commercial Manager to elevate team standards and sales across the store.

This hands-on leadership role includes managing service, people and operations, with a strong emphasis on coaching, teamwork, and delivering the best possible

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, preferably in a supervisor role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great product placement and 'wow' wearable outfits.
• Maintain strong visual standards aligned with the customer journey.
• Duty manage across service, people, and operations.
• Support the Product/Commercial Manager to empower store teams.
• Utilise commercial tools to drive actions and store performance.
• Drive store KPIs including sales, stock loss, payroll, conversion and RFID.
• Support store operations, health & safety compliance.
• Develop the store team to be high performing and engaged.
