Job summary

As an integral part of the store leadership, you may support other nearby stores as needed. Salary £31k, part‑time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Delivers brilliant customer service and coaches a team to do the same.
• Leads on KPI delivery and performance indicators.
• Manages employee relations issues including disciplinary and absence matters.
• Leads store operations, often solo in the absence of senior management.
• Motivates and develops colleagues to achieve high performance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly daily.
• Take responsibility for day‑to‑day store operations and accountability for the full shop.
• Collaborate with team to ensure customers are served efficiently and safely.
• Coach and manage performance, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure scheduling/pay accuracy.
• Occasionally support other nearby stores as part of networks of convenience stores.
