Job summary

DEBRA Lanark is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our local team. The role involves supporting the Store Manager to drive store performance, maximise income through physical and digital channels, and lead an inclusive team of colleagues and volunteers.

The position is Full Time and Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Sunday with 5 days out of 7. Salary is £24,096.80 per annum (£13.24 per hour).

Qualifications

• Motivated and enthusiastic with strong customer service and retail administration skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure to support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing management of paid colleagues and volunteers.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Support the Store Manager in maximising profits to increase the store's overall contribution.
• Use visual merchandising to ensure the store is commercially appealing and well presented.
• Help generate quality donated goods to achieve processing targets and maintain shop density levels.
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required, ensuring continuity of leadership and operations.
