Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the iCaSH Norwich team on a substantive 28.75 hour per week contract. You will support a multidisciplinary team, help patients with contraception, STI/HIV care and health promotion activities, while maintaining confidentiality and compassionate care.

The role requires good time management, excellent communication, and a commitment to learning in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain privacy, confidentiality and patient dignity.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a chaperone and assist nurses/doctors with intimate examinations/procedures.
• Provide information to patients and offer risk reduction and contraception advice.
• Provide a phlebotomy service for patients attending the service.
• Support health promotion events when requested.
• Be non-judgemental to all client groups.
