Job summary

Alameda Middle School is seeking an excellent SEND expert to bring their expertise, experience and strong understanding of inclusive practice to our school. The role is designed to be flexible, welcoming candidates from varied backgrounds who can contribute to SEND leadership.

The post is largely non-teaching, two days per week, supporting the SENDCo with SEND strategy, staff development, EHCP processes, working with families, external agencies, provision mapping and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SEND and inclusive practice.
• Experience in SEND leadership roles or advisory capacity.
• Ability to develop staff and contribute to strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support SENDCo with SEND strategy and provision mapping.
• Lead staff development related to SEND and inclusion.
• Coordinate EHCP processes and liaise with families and external agencies.
