Job summary

Academics in Beaconsfield seeks an experienced SENDCo for two days per week to lead strategic SEND provision and support staff in delivering inclusive practice. You will ensure readiness to meet statutory duties and foster strong collaboration with families and external agencies.

Role involves coordinating EHCPs, annual reviews and evaluations of interventions, with a focus on safeguarding, wellbeing and continuous improvement within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience in primary education and SENDCo leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and Equality Act.
• Experience collaborating with families, agencies and governors.
• Calm, positive, solution-focused approach and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day SEND provision across the school.
• Support teachers to identify needs and implement strategies.
• Develop, monitor and evaluate interventions with impact.
• Coordinate EHCP applications, annual reviews and consultations.
• Work with external professionals and ensure regulatory compliance.
