Senploy is seeking experienced SEND Tutors in the United Kingdom to provide personalised education to children and young people needing an individual approach. Qualifications

• Relevant teaching, tutoring or education qualifications.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated and personalised teaching.
• Confidence planning learning around individual starting points.
• Experience supporting pupils who may have become disengaged from education.
• An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider professional team.
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Reliable organisation and record-keeping skills.

Responsabilités

• Planning and delivering individualised learning sessions.
• Teaching core subjects including English and maths where appropriate.
• Adapting curriculum content around different abilities and learning needs.
• Breaking learning into manageable and achievable steps.
• Supporting pupils working towards individual targets and EHCP outcomes.
• Identifying gaps in learning caused by disrupted education.
• Rebuilding confidence and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Using different strategies to support communication and engagement.
• Supporting emotional regulation within learning sessions.
• Developing activities around a young person's interests and strengths.
• Encouraging independence and gradually increasing engagement.
• Monitoring academic and personal progress.
• Recording outcomes and providing clear feedback.
• Working collaboratively with education professionals, families and other people involved in the learner's support.
