Job summary

SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting qualified teachers to deliver personalised education to children and young people with SEND across Lowton and the surrounding areas. This role focuses on one-to-one and personalised learning, adapting to individual needs and supporting families.

You'll work in homes, communities or online, delivering engaging activities, monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes while prioritising safeguarding and flexible, part-time hours.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Strong understanding of individualised learning.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
• Patience, resilience and a flexible approach.
• Experience in outreach, alternative provision, EOTAS, autism or SEMH would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised teaching and learning activities.
• Identifying approaches that encourage engagement and build confidence.
• Adapting lessons and resources to suit individual needs.
• Supporting communication, emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Establishing consistent routines and achievable learning goals.
