BrightTeach in Brighton is seeking experienced SEND Tutors to deliver personalised education to children and young people needing a tailored approach. You'll typically tutor one-to-one or in small groups, adapting lessons to each learner's starting point and needs.

Candidates should have teaching or tutoring qualifications and experience with SEND. DBS checks and safeguarding knowledge are important, and the role offers a flexible, part-time schedule with hourly pay between £30 and £42.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching, tutoring or education qualifications.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated and personalised teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individualised learning sessions.
• Teach core subjects where appropriate (e.g., English, maths).
• Adapt curriculum content for different abilities and learning needs.
• Break learning into manageable steps and monitor progress.
• Support pupils toward EHCP outcomes and personal targets.
• Record outcomes and provide clear feedback; monitor progress.
