Senploy is seeking a SEND Tutor in East Sussex to deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition across primary and secondary learners with SEND. You’ll tailor lessons to each learner’s needs, support emotional wellbeing, and build confidence in learning.

This flexible role fits around your availability, offering competitive hourly rates (£30-£42) and ongoing professional development. Candidates with QTS or equivalent experience and a safeguarding mindset are encouraged to apply.

Qualifikationen

• QTS or substantial teaching experience in SEND contexts.
• Experience supporting children with SEND across age ranges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with professional standards.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practices.

Aufgaben

• Deliver one-to-one tuition to children and young people with SEND, mainly face-to-face.
• Plan and deliver engaging, bespoke lessons.
• Set SMART targets and review progress.
• Design interventions supporting academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
• Create a safe, positive learning environment.
• Complete attendance records, session reports, and progress updates.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in CPD.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
