Job summary

The Clarendon Academy in Wiltshire is seeking a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join its Resource Base for students with cognition and learning needs. This role supports secondary pupils who require specialist provision within a mainstream setting.

You will work with SEND staff to help pupils progress in their learning, support small groups, and contribute to a nurturing, collaborative classroom environment. Part-time hours (30 per week) across 39 weeks, with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting students learning.
• Current First Aid or is prepared to undertake training.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning difficulties and SEND needs.
• Collaborate with Resource Base and SEND team to help students progress.
• Work with small groups to deliver targeted assistance.
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
