Job summary

Bellefield C of E Primary & Nursery School is seeking a committed Resource Base Teaching Assistant to support learning across our resource base and across classes. The role involves differentiating tasks, assisting with language, reading and handwriting, and helping pupils engage with the curriculum.

Working 32 hours 25 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, with after-school duties and potential personal care duties.

Qualifications

• Support the class teacher in delivering a differentiated curriculum.
• Adapt to a range of learning environments and pupil needs.
• Motivate pupils, promote independence and self-esteem.
• Assist with language, reading and handwriting support.
• Contribute to planning, monitor pupil progress and communicate with parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support across classes in the resource base.
• Supervise pupils in classroom, trips and wider school settings.
• Support with personal and physical care as needed.
• Adhere to school policies and participate in professional development.
