Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering a differentiated curriculum within the resource base.
• Support across different classes and adapt to a range of learning environments and pupil needs.
• Clarify instructions, assist with materials and equipment, and provide targeted support in language, reading and handwriting.
• Promote inclusion, support positive behaviour, build self-esteem, and supervise pupils in classroom and wider school activities, including trips.
• Provide personal and physical care when required and help deliver therapy programmes under professional guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to plan, monitor pupil progress, communicate with parents, and maintain a safe, well-resourced learning environment.
