Job summary

The Clare School is seeking enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with a wide range of learning, physical, sensory and medical needs. You will assist with learning activities, support engagement in the curriculum, and help pupils develop independence in a supportive, patient environment.

Working hours are 08:45 to 15:45 daily, term time plus one week, with the contract fixed-term until 31 August 2027.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent required.
• Understanding of child development and learning.
• Reliable, trustworthy and with exemplary attendance.
• Positive, can-do attitude and caring approach to pupils.
• Committed to high standards of support for learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning activities and support engagement in the curriculum.
