Job summary

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a welcoming primary school in Hounslow. The role involves 1:1 support and small group work with pupils who have SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, SEMH and MLD, helping them access learning and participate in lessons.

The ideal candidate is caring, patient and resilient, with experience supporting children and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Have a caring, patient and nurturing personality.
• Be confident supporting pupils with SEN needs.
• Have experience working with children or young people.
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Work with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement support plans.
• Promote engagement and inclusivity throughout the school day.
