Job summary

Teach Plus Limited in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a part-time role, starting ASAP. You will support pupils with SEN, help them access the curriculum and build confidence in a calm classroom.

You will work with class teachers and the inclusion team to provide targeted interventions, monitor progress, and maintain records. A suitable candidate will have Enhanced DBS and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Passion for supporting pupils with SEND.
• Right to work in the UK; enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Deliver targeted interventions to support academic, social and emotional development
• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and adapting learning activities where appropriate
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence, independence and engagement in learning
• Work closely with class teachers, SEN staff and other professionals to monitor pupil progress
• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback on pupil development and learning needs
