Job summary

Railway Street Nursery School in Armagh is seeking a Part-Time Classroom Assistant (Special Educational Needs) to support pupils within the classroom and beyond. The role involves assisting with educational plans, personal care, and contributing to inclusive practice under the direction of the principal and class teacher.

Flexible holiday arrangements are available. The post is fixed-term (May 2026 to 30 June 2027) with 22.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9:00–13:30).

Qualifications

• Essential: Health and safety knowledge.
• Essential: Understanding development needs of children.
• Ability to plan and organise learning activities.
