Job summary

Castle Manor Academy, part of Unity Schools Partnership, is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support learning across Years 7 to 11, in class and small-group interventions within our mainstream SEND provision. A C grade in GCSE Maths and English, and experience with SEND, are required. You will work well in a team and uphold the PROUD values.

This permanent, part-time role offers development opportunities, a supportive leadership team and access to high-quality professional development.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children with additional needs, ideally in a secondary setting.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrate PROUD values: Professional, Resilient, Optimistic, Understanding and Driven.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across Years 7–11 in the classroom and in small group interventions.
• Work within our mainstream SEND provision to support pupils.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and promote pupil wellbeing.
