Job summary

24x7 Group is recruiting a part-time Driver – Home to School Transport Driver in your local area. You’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities on school routes, with morning and afternoon shifts on school days.

You’ll build professional relationships with passengers, parents and school staff, follow safety procedures and company guidelines, and complete training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS Check
• Completion of Group 2 medical assessment
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Ensure passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Build professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

• Avalid UK driving licence(car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass anEnhanced DBS Check(criminal record check)
• Completion of aGroup 2 medical assessmentto meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

This role involves driving children or conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability. The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
