24x7 Group is seeking a part-time Home to School Transport Driver in Chester to provide safe transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for safe pick-ups, aiding passengers, and maintaining positive relationships with parents and school staff.

The role offers 12.5–20 hours per week, with a salary of £540–£860 per month depending on route. Vehicle provided, full training, Enhanced DBS check, and term-time work with holidays off.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passengers travel safely to and from schools or locations.
• Build professional relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Available for morning and afternoon shifts on school days.

Your Role

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

This role involves driving children or conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability. The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
