24x7 Group is hiring a part-time Driver – Home to School Transport Driver in Barrow-in-Furness. You’ll provide safe transport for students and adults with special needs during term-time, with mornings and afternoons routes.

We offer flexible hours, vehicle provided, and training. Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence, pass an Enhanced DBS check, and be eligible to work in the UK. Training is provided to handle various vehicle types.

• Ensure passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations.

Hours:Range from12.5to 20 per week (route dependent)

Your Role

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• Avalid UK driving licence(car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass anEnhanced DBS Check(criminal record check)
• Completion of aGroup 2 medical assessmentto meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

This role involves driving children or conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability. The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
