Job summary

Coppull Primary School and Nursery in Coppull, Chorley, is recruiting a Site Supervisor to work 13.5 hours per week from October. The role is part time on a 52‑week contract, with holidays pro rata. The Site Supervisor will manage caretaking, cleaning, maintenance and security duties, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for pupils and staff under the Headteacher's direction.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Caretaking (or equivalent).
• Experience in manual tasks (maintenance, DIY).
• Experience supervising staff.
• Experience testing portable electrical equipment.
• Experience in security-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out caretaking duties to agreed quality standards.
• Security and supervision of the site and related equipment.
• Cleaning and maintenance to ensure a safe, secure environment.
• Work under the Headteacher and senior leaders to support day-to-day school operations.
